Lying between the Pennines to the east and the Lake District fells to the west, the beautiful, lush green Eden Valley has gentle scenic views, often filmed for TV. In early autumn, the trees start to lose their greens and gain hues of orange, rust and terra rosa. I’ve tried to capture this in an atmospheric, and very peaceful painting.
